紧张的面试过后就是收获的季节啦！当出色的自己得到面试官的认可并收到offer后，伴随着难以言表的激动之情时，应该问人事部什么问题呢？

David: Hello, Jane. This is David, human resources manager of IBM.

Jane: Hello, David.

David: I’m calling to offer you the opportunity to join us because of the positive results of your interview performance.

Jane: Oh, that’s exciting! I’m looking forward to joining your team.

David: Pleased to hear that. Do you have any questions about the salary?

Jane: I’d like to know if the company will provide me with any employee fringe benefits except for the regular salaries.

David: Yes, if you work overtime, there will be an additional subsidy. And please come to the company next Monday.

Jane: OK, see you then.

David: See you, bye.

★ be looking forward to 表示“期待……”，要注意此处的 to为介词，因此，其后的动词要用 -ing 形式。

★ 区别 except 和 except for。

（1）except 指“除……之外”，强调所排除的东西不包含在内。

例：Our office is open every day except Sundays.

除了周日， 我们每天都正常工作。

（2）except for 指“除……之外，还有……”。

例：We also have year-end bonuses except for performance bonuses.

除了绩效奖金外，我们还有年终奖。
