Production

Production pertains to the actual manufacturing of a product. There are several parameters which fall under production. These are self explanatory:

• Product defect and quality issue
• Machine efficiency and output analysis
• Wastage (Scrap) analysis
• Maintaining standards
• Monitoring costs per job

A consultant will have to work with multiple data points and help the SCM personnel in to do the analysis. Reducing wastage is crucial as it saves costs and improves efficiency.
