Mixed mode
Mixed mode is where companies have both models of B2B and B2C. There are several examples for this. One example which we can relate to is that of a financial institution like a bank. Banks can do business with companies and consumers. They usually have a corporate division and a retail division. The sales can happen both directly and indirectly. The indirect way is sales by agents who sell on behalf of the bank to the end consumer.
Companies can also be categorized on the basis of what they sell. Let's look at this in the next section.
