How it works...
The initial management of Microsoft SCDPM focuses on the use of the DPM Administrative Console. The console allows administrators to manage every aspect of their backup and recovery from within a single user interface.
Once DPM has been installed and configured successfully, typically an administrator will spend the majority of their time in the Monitoring, Recovery, and Reporting task areas.
You must be a member of the local Administrators group on your DPM server to be able to access the DPM Administrator Console.
