2.3　Overhaul and Maintenance

2.3.1　Overhaul of the power station equipment shall satisfy the relevant provisions in the prevailing ministerial standard of DL/T 1006 Guide of Maintenance Management for Hydropower Station Equipments.

2.3.2　The power station equipment shall be overhauled regularly with an interval stipulated in DL/T 1006.Equipment overhaul period shall be arranged reasonably according to factors such as the features of the river runoff，and should be preferably carried out in the dry season.

2.3.3　An equipment overhaul and maintenance code or overhaul work guide shall be compiled for the power station.During the overhaul，examination and acceptance for quality control points of key process shall be done well.

2.3.4　For enterprises issuing contracts for overhaul，an overhaul contract shall be made with the contractor.

2.3.5　The preventive tests after the overhaul for electrical equipment shall meet the relevant provisions in the prevailing ministerial standard of DL/T 596 Preventive Test Code for Electric Power Equipment.

2.3.6　Advanced technology and overhaul tools shall be used for the overhaul of the power station equipment to shorten the overhaul period，and overhaul management shall be enhanced.

2.3.7　Tools and lighting facilities used for power generating equipment and emergency repairs shall be kept and maintained by special staff as well as inspected and tested regularly.

2.3.8　Acceptance and trial operation shall be carried out after overhaul and an overhaul report shall be submitted.

2.3.9　An inspection and maintenance system for hydraulic structures in the power station shall be set up.The hydraulic structures shall be monitored，inspected，maintained and repaired to eliminate defects or hidden troubles.
