4.3　Distributed Generation

4.3.1　Local consumption shall be the primary means for consumption of electricity from distributed generation.Where integrated operation is required，a study on connection to the power system shall be performed.The connection scheme shall be submitted to competent authorities for approval before its implementation.

4.3.2　In distribution network plans，the point of connection to grid，voltage level，short-circuit capacity limit and connection requirements for distributed generation should be considered according to its capacity，characteristic and load requirements.

4.3.3　Protection and automatic devices of distribution networks and distributed generation shall meet the isolated operation requirements，and their configuration and functions shall meet the following requirements:

1　Able to detect isolated portion quickly；

2　Able to take effective control measures for distribution network and isolated portion out of synchronization，and resume integrated operation immediately upon clearance of fault；

3　Able to ensure continuous and safe power supply for important loads during isolated operation.
