Lesson 10 Advice of Itinerary 行程安排通知

在国际商务活动中，一个国家的公司经常会到另一个国家的公司进行考察、洽谈业务或者参观访问等，这时就需要用到行程通知，即提前正式通知对方自己的行程安排，包括随行的人员、搭乘的交通工具、到达的时间、逗留日期以及自己的打算，以便对方公司做出必要的安排。

Gentlemen：

As you are well aware，I shall be arriving in Beijing along with my buyer，Ms.Joyce Fogel，on September 12. I shall indicate flight numbers and arrival times below.

Departure from Geneva on September 11 and it is scheduled to arrive in Beijing at 19:10 hours on September 12. We will fax you once again to confirm the exact time of the flight. It will be very thankful if you make trip to the airport to meet us.

With regard to our itinerary，I trust we shall be able to spend a minimum of two days in Dalian， including a visit to the glass factory. Thus if we leave early on one day，we should plan to return late the following day.

If facilities still exist and it is possible to visit Tianjin again，we should plan the following program：leaving by train early one morning，spending one night there and returning to Beijing the following night. Here again I would like to visit the glass factory that is producing so much merchan-dise for us.

Since this is Ms. Fogel's first visit to China，I also hope you will be able to arrange visit to some place of interests in Beijing if it is convenient for you.

I trust our visit will be a satisfactory one and look forward to an ever increasing volume of business with your glass factories.

在外贸业务中，这样的搭配和用法有不少，例如：

2．as you are well aware … 如你方（清楚地）所知……

as是relative pronoun，它的含义是“which fact”，就是指主句所表示的意思，即I shall be arriving in Beijing along with my buyer…

又例如：

As you will find out，we have made great concessions in closing the price gap.

如你方所见，为了弥合价差我们已经做了极大的让步。

As you know，we require payment by confirmed，irrevocable L/C payable by draft at sight.

如你所知，我们需要的是保兑的、不可撤销的即期信用证。
