Brief Introduction to the President of China Wushu Association, Mr. Huang Zhaoqiang

Mr. Huang Zhaoqiang is now the President of the China Wushu Association (He is also the President of Shanghai Creative Industry Association, the Honorary President of Hong Kong Pudong Federation,the Honorary President of Shanghai Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Association and the Honorary President of Shanghai Equestrian Association). He loves martial arts from his childhood. Since his tenure as president in 2014, with the leadership ability of personnel and the cohesiveness of the con fi dant and with the innovation and development,he has set up professional committees of a-hundred-year Zha Style Boxing, National Wushu Art Sodality, Zhao Bao Shadow Boxing,Teenagers, Taiji Heart Method, Traditional Martial Arts, Zhongnan Form and Will Boxing, Snake and Finch Taiji, fighting skills, Eurasian Wushu, Free Combat, Internal School Fist and Taekwondo. He directs the writings of various professional committees’ in-depth research in their respective fields. At present, the Hundred-Year-Zha Style Boxing has been approved by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government as “the Sixth Batch of intangible cultural heritage in Shanghai”. He has been leading more than 10,000 old, middle-aged and young members at home and abroad to organize several hundred performance competitions. Not only have they achieved good results, but also won the reputation of the masses, resounded the reputation of the China Wushu Association to the north and south of the Yangtze River Delta, and replayed the glory of the Chinese martial arts culture. President Huang, based on the popularization of martial arts, promotes Chinese Wushu to move towards the world.Under the strategic background of the country of the Belt and the Road,President Huang together with the Vice Chairman of the International Olympic Committee, Mr. Yu Zaiqing, are preparing to develop the Chinese Wushu into the Olympic Games, spreading and carrying forward excellent Chinese culture, and promoting cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
