About the Author

Dr. Chen Xueqi is the 25th generation direct successor of Chen Mushan's Gynecology, the head of the inheritance studio of Zhejiang Chen Mushan's Gynecology, which is one of the First Named National TCM Academic Schools, and the advisor to the inheritance of the academic experience of the sixth named national-leveled senior GP of traditional Chinese medicine, chief physician of Chinese medicine, adjunct professor of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, postgraduate supervisor. Dr. Chen has been apprenticed to his family member since his childhood, and then graduated from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University.

Dr. Chen Xueqi is also the executive member of the sixth council of China Association of Chinese Medicine, standing committee member of Gynecology Specialty Committee of China Association of Chinese Medicine, deputy director of the fifth council of Zhejiang Chinese Medicine Association, vice chairman of Gynecology Specialty Committee of Zhejiang Association of Chinese Medicine, vice chairman of Gynecology Specialty Committee of Zhejiang Association of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, standing committee member of Female Reproductive Medicine Specialty Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.

Dr. Chen Xueqi has accumulated over 30 years’ clinical experience of Chinese medicine, especially in treating such diseases as infertility, irregular menstruation, chronic pelvic inflammation, dysmenorrhea, ovarian cyst, menopausal syndrome, threatened miscarriage, recurrent miscarriage, and postpartum diseases. He also has rich experience in treating male infertility and other internal disorders such as gout, early hypertension, early diabetes, chronic atrophic gastritis and insomnia.

In recent years, he has hosted and participated in over 10 research projects at the provincial, ministerial and bureau levels, two of which have won awards. He has published over 40 papers, authored and co-authored 8 books on Chinese medicine.
