Chapter 2 People-to-People Exchanges and Global Public Goods

Abstract

Global public goods consist of cultural global commons,alongside natural,economic,and social global commons.People-to-people exchan-ges on a global scale intend to,inter alia ,develop friendships and improve understandings of human scientific,practical knowledge,information,principles and norms,as well as cultural heritages which are parts of cultural global commons.Against the backdrop of the upward emotional trending of anti-globalization,populism and nationalism,communications and exchanges among people all over the world play a crucial role in preserving and promoting global public goods,and themselves can even arguably function as global public goods.
