6.5 Electrical Facilities Arrangement
6.5.1 The arrangement of electrical facilities shall be determined through techno-economic analysis based on the seismic precautionary intensity, site conditions and other environmental conditions and in combination with the electrical general layout and operation and maintenance conditions.
6.5.2 When the seismic precautionary intensity is 8 degree or above, the electrical facilities should be arranged according to the following requirements:
1 For 110kV and above switchgears,high-profile,semi-high profile or two-storey indoor arrangement should not be adopted.
2 The tubular busbars of 110kV and above switchgears should be suspended.
3 110kV and above equipment may be arranged depending on the product shape when the seismic strength verification testing requirements given in Article 6.4.1 are met.
6.5.3 When the seismic precautionary intensity is 8 degree or above, the capacitor platform of 110kV and above capacitive compensator should be suspended.
6.5.4 When the seismic precautionary intensity is 8 degree or above, the dry-type air-core reactor should not be arranged with its three phases vertically arranged.
