Device templates

Device templates have been renamed from the old Host template of Cacti 0.8 to better visualize that Cacti is able to monitor not only hosts, but a wide range of devices. Host templates are like shopping baskets for graph templates and data queries. Let's assume a specific device type should contain several different graphs. Instead of adding each single graph template and data query to each single device, you can simply define these within a device template and assign that device template to the device.

With Cacti 1.0, you can now sync the devices with these device templates so changes to the template are being propagated to the device.
