Do external factors impose a schedule on the UX study?

Some studies might require that they are executed in a very specific time window. An app for keeping track of the Wimbledon Championship scores will be best tested during the duration of the tournament, and an app to navigate conference halls can only be tested when the conference is ongoing. 

Taking all of this into account, the UX researcher should provide a schedule that includes dates for when the following should occur:

• UX researcher provides study framework documentation
• Stakeholders sign off on study framework
• UX researcher provides a first draft of the discussion guide/script
• Stakeholders provide feedback for discussion guide/script
• UX researcher provides the final version of the discussion guide/script
• UX researcher executes a pilot run
• UX researcher runs the study
• UX researcher provides results of the study
