Intel Edison

Edison is a system-on-a-chip (SoC), based on Intel x86 architecture with embedded Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi designed for IoT applications. Edison runs a Linux distribution named Yocto; has support for many platforms, such as Python, Node.js, C, and C++; and has plugins for developing solutions using Arduino IDE, Eclipse, and Intel XDK.
