Writing on the web
There may be many reasons why would you like to write on the web. However, if you have cultivated the habit of accentuating an important paragraph or underscoring a favorite quote for years, then that might be the main reason.
To write and highlight on the web using Microsoft Edge, complete the following steps:
- Click the Start button.
- Select Microsoft Edge from the pinned tile on the Start menu.
- Select Add notes on the menu bar located at the top-right corner of the Microsoft Edge window.
- Select any of the available tools on the menu to start writing on the web page (as shown in the following screenshot):

- When you are done, select Save Web Note from the menu.
- Select Exit from the menu to exit the Add notes feature.
