Setting up an AWS EC2 GPU deep learning environment

In this section, we will learn how to set up a deep learning specific instance on AWS. Before you can begin working with AWS, you will need to create an account on the AWS console. To do so, go through the following steps:

1. Visit https://console.aws.amazon.com and you'll be presented with a login/sign up screen.
2. If you do not already have an AWS account, click on Create a new AWS account and follow the steps to create one, which might require you to enter your debit/credit card details to enable billing for your account.
3. Upon logging into your account, on the dashboard, click on EC2 in the All services section, as shown in the following screenshot:

Once you have reached the EC2 management page within the AWS console, you'll need to go through the steps in the following sections to create an instance for your deep learning needs.
