6.2　Installation of Buckstays

6.2.1　Buckstays shall be subjected to check and acceptance before installation，and shall be in compliance with the following requirements:

1　The over size and deflection vector height of the buckstays，and the allowable deviation of the deflection vector height shall be 5.0mm；

2　Sizes and positions of buckstays bolt holes shall meet the requirements of design documents；

3　Lubricating grease shall be coated at the bottoms of buckstays and between the buckstays and the shim plates to facilitate sliding.

6.2.2　The deformation of the buckstays shall be avoided during the transportation and hoisting，and during stacking，the buckstays shall be leveled up with bearing points not less than 3.

6.2.3　Before installation，the concrete of oven hearth shall be subjected to check and acceptance，and shall be in compliance with the following requirements:

1　The edge of concrete edge of oven hearth shall not bugle out of the masonry of the coke oven；

2　The size of the concrete bracket of oven hearth shall meet the requirements of design documents；

3　Gap between the lower part of buckstays and the concrete bracket of oven hearth shall meet the requirements of design documents，and shall contain impurities.

6.2.4　The contact of the small protective plate and the masonry shall be close，gap shall be less than 1.0mm，and continuous length shall not be larger than 100.0mm.

6.2.5　When the Class A construction technology is adopted，the installation of buckstays shall be in compliance with the following requirements（Figure 6.2.5）:

1　The elevation of shim plates of buckstays is adjusted，and allowable deviation shall be±5.0mm；

2　Space between buckstays is adjusted，and allowable deviation shall be±3.0mm.

6.2.6　When the Class B construction technology is adopted，the installation of buckstays shall be in compliance with the following requirements（Figure 6.2.5）:

1　The elevation of shim plates of buckstays is adjusted，and allowable deviation shall be±1.0mm.

2　Space between buckstays in the oven length shall be checked and adjusted twice，for the first time，space is checked and adjusted during the installation of buckstays before the pouring of oven hearth and the building of oven bottom，and for the second time，space is checked and adjusted before the oven body is built to the bottom of the coking chamber and the protective plate is installed.The allowable deviation of the oven bottom is，the allowable deviation of the bottom of the coking chamber is，and the allowable deviation of oven roof is

3　Gaps of buckstays in the oven bank direction shall be checked and adjusted twice，the allowable deviation of the oven bottom is±3.0mm，the allowable deviation of the bottom of the coking chamber is±5.0mm，the first allowable deviation of oven roof is±7.0mm，and the second allowable deviation of oven roof is±3.0mm.
