4.4　Selection of Normal Water Level and Dead Water Level

4.4.1　For the selection of normal storage level，several options shall be formulated according to the river cascade development program，requirements for multipurpose utilization，construction conditions of project，sedimentation，reservoir inundation，and eco-environment，and then finalized through techno-economic demonstration and comprehensive analysis.

4.4.2　Selection of dead water level shall be finalized after comprehensive analysis of requirements of various authorities for water level，reservoir sedimentation and operating conditions of hydraulic turbines，etc.
