6.3　Power Supply and Distribution System

6.3.1　The voltage class of medium voltage power distribution system for the production line should be 10kV.

6.3.2　In cold rolling strip plant，power distribution system shall be built in different areas but close to the load center as far as possible in view of the production capacity and location of production lines，etc.

6.3.3　The main connection of power distribution system should be made by single busbar or sectionalized single busbar，and the power distribution system should distribute power in a radial way.

6.3.4　Any electric energy quality problem caused by any power users should be handled and controlled by the related area to which such users belong.

6.3.5　The design of relaying protection and automation device shall comply with the relevant requirements in the current national standard GB 50062 Code for Design of Relaying Protection and Automation Device of Power Supply Installation.
