4.5　Workshop Pipings

4.5.1　The pipes in workshop should be laid along building columns，pipe channels or pipe tunnels without affecting access，opening of doors and windows and lighting.

4.5.2　The following requirements shall be complied with when several pipes are arranged one above another:

1　Hot medium pipe shall be arranged above cold medium pipe；

2　Non-corrosive medium pipe shall be arranged above corrosive medium pipe；

3　Gas pipe shall be arranged above liquid pipe；

4　Metallic pipe shall be arranged above non-metallic pipe；

5　Heat insulated pipe shall be arranged above non-heat insulated pipe.

4.5.3　When several pipes are laid horizontally along the wall，they should be arranged in a way that large pipes，pipes of ambient temperature and pipes with fewer branches are laid close to wall and that small pipes，hot pipes and pipes with more branches laid at outer side.

4.5.4　For hot and corrosive medium pipes，the flange and valves must not be installed over the pedestrian way.The valves of vertical pipes should be installed 1.2m-1.5m above the ground；and they shall be provided with operation platform if they have to be installed more than 2 m above the ground.

4.5.5　The fuel gas pipe should be laid away from the power supply side of crane.
