10.4 Electrode Lifting Mechanism and Electrode Clamping Mechanism
10.4.1 The guide frames shall be installed according to the following requirements:
1 The longitudinal and horizontal center lines shall be adjusted,and the measurement by plumb wire should be carried out,with the allowable deviation of 2.0mm.
2 The elevation shall be adjusted,and the measurement by optical instrument should be carried out,with the allowable deviation of±2.0mm.
3 The verticality shall be adjusted,and the measurement by suspension wire or by theodolite should be carried out,with the allowable deviation of 0.10/1000.
10.4.2 The electrode mast and the horn bracket shall be installed based on the serial number of the electrodes and the horn bracket shall remain horizontal state during lifting.The mast bracket shall be connected with the pin of lifting hydraulic cylinder after hoisted into the guide frame.
10.4.3 The lifting guide sheave for electrode mast shall be installed according to the following requirements:
1 The clearance between the idler pulley and the mast shall be adjusted so as to ensure that the sum of the clearances between two idler pulley and the mast and that between its diagonal pulley and the mast be less than 1.0mm,which should be checked by feeler gauge.
2 The verticality of mast shall be adjusted,and the measurement by suspension wire should be carried out,with the allowable deviation of 0.10/1000.
3 The distance of three electrode masts shall be adjusted,and the measurement by ruler should be carried out,with the allowable deviation of±1.0mm.
10.4.4 The horns shall be installed according to the requirement of Article 9.7.4 of the Code.
10.4.5 The water cooling system for the electrode clamp head shall be subject to a hydrostatic test and a flushing test according to the requirement of Article 9.5.5 of the code.
10.4.6 The water cooling system for the horn and the electrode clamp head shall be subject to a hydrostatic test and a flushing test according to the requirement of Items 2 and 3 of Article 5.2.5 of the code.
