1.obituary [E5bitjuEri] n. a published notice of a death, sometimes with a brief account of the dead person’s life. 讣告,讣闻 I read Sewell’s obituary in the Daily News.我在《每日新闻》上读到了休厄尔的讣告。

2.workaholic [7wE:kE5hClik] n. a person who works obsessively and finds it difficult to stop工作狂:He was a lifelong workaholic, who painted dawn to dusk seven days a week.终生醉心于工作,天天从早画到晚。

3.conceivably [kEn5si:vEbli] adv. in a manner that can be imagined or believed可以想象的,令人信服的:Conceivably, those disputes could fade if Japan’s trade surplus continues to fall.可以预见,如果日本的贸易顺差继续下降,那么这些争论就会淡化。
