Chapter 3 The efficient path towards Chinese independent innovation: Understanding through case studies

Independent innovation is beneficial to the sustainable development of the Chinese economy. The experience of other countries and China itself over the years shows that it is entirely possible for underdeveloped countries to move forward on the road towards independent innovation. China has had the basic conditions and environment conducive to independent innovation, but in order to move forward on the road to independent innovation, an efficient path towards independent innovation is yet to be explored. This chapter explores an efficient path based on case studies.
