Radio and television are two excellent ways to advertise. Radio and television stations will do a lot of free advertising for community events.If the trade show is organized to raise money for charity, a radio or television station will often be a sponsor of the event.This means that they will donate a lot of free advertising for the event.

Dialogue 1
A：I need someone to volunteer to contact the local radio stations.
B：I'll do that. I've done it for the last five years.
They know who I am at both stations.
A：Thanks, Bill. I need someone else to volunteer to contact the television station.
B：I'll do it. I used to work at the TV station.It'll be easy.
A：Bill, I don't know why we have a committee. You have everything under control.
B：I just like to help, but if someone else is dying to do it, they can.

A：Did they do advertising for the show last year?
B：Of course. Part of their job is to sponsor and advertise events just like this one.

B：I'll go down to the TV station tomorrow afternoon.

B：Don't worry. The TV station will give you a good price.

B：Of course. That's what they do.
A：And we are a radio station. And covering events like this is what we do.
B：Great. The trade show is next month so we should really start advertising.
