1．在（或向）……上面。如：
The plane flew above the clouds．飞机飞在云层之上。
2.（数量、水平、年龄、重要性）多于、大于、超过。如：
Children above six years of age should go to school．六岁以上的儿童应该上学。
A young man studying in a college abroad sent this SMS（短信）to his father: Dear dad, no mon, no fun, your son.
The father replied: Dear son, too bad, so sad, your dad.
（注：mon为money的俚语。）
