Chapter 2 Literature Review

This chapter is devoted to reviewing the literature relevant to this research.We will firstly examine the various ways of defining judges' roles in different legal systems.Secondly，a general survey will be made of the various research approaches to and current knowledge about judicial behavior.Finally，an introduction to DP will be made and its relevance for judicial behavior research will be discussed.
