Chapter I GUIDING THEORIES

The four Units in Chapter I are designed to address the guiding theories of this book. The first Unit provides a conceptualization of culture and tourism culture. The second introduces the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism. The third focuses on ecotourism. The fourth contributes to sustainable tourism especially on the islands of the Asia-Pacific Region.
