The International Experience Design Conference has become one of the major events for the design community, not just in China but worldwide. By gathering together an international community of professionals, IXDC functions as a kind of “design diplomacy”: In an era of political tension, economic uncertainty, and continuous technological disruption, the importance of finding common ground has never been greater.

As design becomes an increasingly global practice, and as China plays an increasingly prominent role in the international design community, IXDC provides an opportunity for us to share ideas, experiences, and practices. Over three days of lectures workshops, and informal discussions, seasoned professionals mingle with student volunteers, academics meet practitioners, design leaders spot emerging talent.

By bridging national, cultural, and linguistic boundaries, IXDC helps all of us to gain the global perspective that is essential in addressing the challenges of the 21st century.

不仅在中国，更是在世界范围内，国际体验设计大会已成为了设计行业的主要活动之一。将国际上的专业人士聚集在一起的IXDC拥有“设计外交”的作用：在一个政治紧张、经济不稳定、技术发展也不断被打断的时代，找到共同点从未像现在这么重要。

在设计全球化的趋势下，中国在国际设计社区中扮演的角色越来越重要，IXDC为我们提供了一个分享想法、经验和实践成果的机会。在为期3天的工作坊以及非正式的讨论中，学生志愿者可以与经验丰富的专业人士交流，学者与从业者可以会面，设计领导者可以在这里发现新的人才。

通过搭建跨越国家、文化和语言界限的桥梁，IXDC帮助我们所有人获得在应对21世纪挑战时必不可少的全球视角。
