Transcendence of Moral Emotion
Lin Jishan, Yuan Hongjie
Abstract: It is unreasonable for moral emotion to have long been estranged from ethics as moral philosophy. In fact, moral only exists with the foundation of feelings. How significant moral feelings to moral are embodied a concentrated reflection of the transcendence of moral feelings. The transcendence of moral feelings shows in the thinking mode beyond subject-object dichotomy, beyond the assump tion of universal inevitability and beyond the limitation of objective finiteness. Thereunto, beyond-subject-object dichotomy is the core. Only attempting to reveal the transcendence of moral feelings, can we experience the compatibility, freedom and infinity of life revealed by moral feelings.
