Transparency is the theme of this project, and light and sight both are the major issues for this workplace. Glass operates as the interface of this space. Full-height glazings extends spatial depth.

When it comes to design, every space starts from a ray of light, then as people and time develop, space begins to generate the change of the life path.

The office of Qinghai Chemical Engineering continues such design spirit. Designers use glass to define virtual inside and outside. Vague boundary extends the interface, makes the area both interior and exterior, and keeps it open yet private. Only to break through the limitation can a possibility lead to spatial extension. Transparency vivifies the space.

“透”是设计的主题，光线与视线流通是此办公室的一大课题，玻璃扮演起空间的界面，大片的落地玻璃延续了空间的深度。在设计的范畴里，每个空间开始都由光线界定出空间范围，随着人及时间的游移，空间开始呈现出生活的轨迹。

青海化工办公室延续了这样的设计精神，设计师运用玻璃界定出虚实内外，使模糊的边界产生延续的界面，是室内也是室外，是私密也是开放。只有边界打破了，空间才有延续的可能。

“透”令空间活了起来。
