The Improvement of the System of Housing Accumulation Fund
Abstract: Housing provident fund in China is an important social welfare system. The characteristics of it are social, security, welfare and others. Since 1999, the State Council promulgated the“Housing Provident Fund Management Regulations”, housing provident fund has been implemented in China for more than ten years. It provides housing, renovation, overhauling housing funds for many workers, to help them improve the housing conditions, to ease the housing pressure. In promoting the construction of urban housing, urban residents to improve the living level of credit. However, China's housing provident fund system is still a large gap between the deposit, the capital idle, not wide coverage, supervision and other issues. Housing provident fund needs to be perfected in practice, in order to play better in housing construction and improving people's livelihood.
