How can I find peace，

When I'm surrounded by ice？

How can I find warmth，

When my body is shivering and cold？

How can I find peace，

when all around me is gray，

and the cold outside my body

is warmer than the ice within？

How can I find peace，

when my heart is freezing

and over-flowing with emptiness？

How can I find peace，

when my body is decaying before my eyes

and my time is slipping away

like snowflakes in the storm？

How can I find peace，

when I'm an eagle wanting to soar high

but the heavens are flocked with crows

and my broken wings can't take my flight？

How can I find peace， when as a tender babe，

I was ripped from my kindred， removed from my home，

ripped from my homeland， stripped of my identity

and eradicated from my culture！

How can I find peace，

when I have to reconcile and

reinvent myself？

How can I find peace？

How can I find peace，

when I was hurled and left floundering

in the chaotic sea of life

without a life jacket？

How can I find peace，

when anger sat at the pit of my stomach

and has become the sentinel of my throat，

making food unpalatable and painful to swallow？

How can I find peace，

when the memories torment my mind

and the pain， the perpetual pain

saturates my soul？

How can I find peace，

when my heart is quivering

with pain and emptiness，

when my soul is shattered，

and I've lost my last speck of hope.

Please， tell me，

how can I find peace.

冰寒四起，

安宁何寻？

余躯冷且颤栗，

暖意何行？

暗黑四溢，

身外冰寒肆虐，

不及冷酷于心，

安宁何寻？

余心无暖，

虚无横行，

安宁何寻？

余躯腐蚀于目，

余时似风暴卷雪，

流逝飞速，

安宁何寻？

心似雄鹰之天高，

奈何老鸦滔滔，

断翅难速，

安宁何寻？

幼起离亲，离家离国，

不知何身，文化存何，

安宁何寻？

安宁何寻，

若要苟同，

安宁何寻？

被弃挣扎于海，

却无衣防庇身形，

海浪喧闹，

安宁何寻？

积怒于心，涌至喉舌，

食之难咽，痛之不得。

安宁何寻？

回忆翻涌，

永恒之痛，

充斥心灵，

安宁何寻？

心之颤栗，

苦痛空虚，

魂之颤栗，

失望至极，

安宁何寻？
