Heron
The size of Heron is about 1 meter long. The crista is formed by four slender feathers on the occipital region, which is divided into two columns on the head and both side of the occipital region, like plaits. The feathers on the upper body are gray. The outer elytra are light gray, while the end of wings and the inner wings are dark gray. The neck and throat are white, with pale lanceolate long feather on the base of the neck, hanging loose on the chest. The chest and abdomen are white, and a large purple-black spot is flanked on each side of the chest, extending back along the chest and abdomen, then merging near the perianal. The iris is yellow, with the green-yellow lore, yellow bill, claybank tibia, and brown toes.
